Objectives
If a polygon can be reflected, translated, or rotated onto another polygon, so that all of the vertices correspond, the polygons are congruent. This type of transformation has no effect on the size or shape of the polygon.

Another type of transformation is called a dilation. Dilations can be thought of as being similar to multiplication, the size of the polygon is made larger or smaller.
